Hey.....I like Adam. Thoughts on Big Brother 13's Adam Poch

I am an Adam supporter. There, I said it. I am an Adam supporter.

Why is there such a lack of respect for Adam from many fans and former houseguests? All you hear is how he rode Jeff’s coattails and that he is a “coward”, and how he doesn’t deserve to be where he is in the game..that he is – get this – “the worst player in Big Brother history” (Guess we’re forgetting the numerous players who did nothing, won nothing and were voted out in the early weeks of the game). He cares enough about the live feed audience to include them in his thoughts and tries to provide some sort of entertainment..even if it is a goofy elf dance. Still he gets put down for all that….being called out for begging for camera time. Why?

Road coattails? With others, its called being part of an alliance. He did what he felt he needed to do week to week. Even Jeff…the one who’s but Adam is accused of having his nose up..never fully trusted him. Jeff didn’t feel that he had any control over Adam or that Adam would do his bidding. He knew that Adam was a free thinking and that, in the end, would do what he felt was best for himself.

A coward? Why? Is it because he isn’t doing exactly what those judging him want him to do? Is this not simply a case of not liking the person who is against the person you like? I think so.

He is the worst player in Big Brother history? Lest we forget: Autumn, Bunky, Justin, Sheryl, Josh, Lori (BB3), Tanya, Amanda (BB4), Michelle (BB4), Lori (BB5), Mike (BB5), Ashlea, Amber, Mike (BB8), Nick, Brian, Angie, Steven, Braden….and those are just the obvious ones. These individuals won nothing and did nothing that had any lasting bearing on the game.

There is no set of rules saying how you must play to get to the end. The object is to just get there..period. He has done that. He has voted independently during the whole game. He has had the deciding vote, multiple times during the game. His vote was instrumental in taking out both Dani and Brendon; two of the supposedly strong players. These vets he supposedly followed to the end are the same group he voted against the first week.

As far as his antics for the camera… So many feed watchers bitch and moan about all of the boring moments they spend watching online. There are complaints about how long some people sleep..how they hate watching them play pool..or laying out in the sun. Along comes somebody who cares about trying to be entertaining for the feed watchers and he gets lambasted for it. How does that make sense. Maybe you don’t personally find him funny or entertaining…at least give him credit for trying.

I enjoyed his thought sharing talks with the live feeders. It seems that no other houseguest is allowed to talk to the feeders without risk of being called an ED wannabe. Although Dick’s messages to the feeders were fun to watch, it didn’t give him a license to be the only houseguest to do so. It is such a natural thing to do…nothing anyone can claim rights to. Most of Adams thoughts were strategy related. That’s refreshing.

Adam may not win. He may find himself in the Final 2 with someone who he can’t get the votes against. He may find himself going out in the Final 3. That has happened before and it will happen again. If it does happen, at least he can say he did it his way.

This has not been thoroughly edited or revised. Just the thoughts off the top of my head.

Likely Endurance Comp on Thursday

Two things are likely to happen in the Big Brother house tomorrow night. It looks like Dominic will be voted out and it also looks like we're in for our first endurance comp of the season. One thing that is still in the air -- is there a new twist coming our way? It was hinted that something unexpected may be coming...and there is a feeling in the air that a houseguest may return. It could turn out to be a pivotal Thursday night broadcast.

The HoH comp is going to be a turning point in the season, I believe. Big moves could come this week, regardless of who is wearing the HoH crown. A split in the vet's alliance is getting larger and the results of this HoH comp could make it even more so.

Eviction Night - See What Happens After the Live Show

Tonight is eviction night number 2 for this Big Brother season. We have Cassi and Shelly on the block. The popular opinion is that Cassi is going to go. It would be a real shocker if Shelly is voted out. The real anticipation has to do with the HoH competition. Will another vet win HoH or will we see our first newbie grab the weekly crown. It would probably be more exciting if a newbie did win HoH. Good chance that one Brendon/Rachel or Jeff/Jordan would lose a member, but it might make for good game.

First Eviction from the Big Brother 13 House

First Evicted

Last night brought us the first eviction of the season from the Big Brother 13 house. As expected, Keith Henderson, the Human Resource Manager from Bolingbrook, IL was voted out on a 6-4 vote. It may have been expected by us viewers, but there were a few in the house who found this eviction a bit surprising. Keith left the house quietly and was quite humble during his exit interview with Julie Chen. He admitted making mistakes and not putting his focus on the game.

The 2nd HoH competition went quickly and Jordan was crowned the new Head of Household.

New HoH

Shelly cast her vote to evict Keith, but most of the other newbies have dubbed Adam as the one who cast the other newbie vote to evict Keith (they are all aware that Kalia voted that way). Shelly is playing both sides well and is doing it very quietly. If it doesn't all blow up in her face over the next couple of weeks, she has to be considered a favorite in this game.

We will now wait and see how Jordan goes with her nominations. Early favorites to go up seem to be Dominic/Adam, with Jordan preferring to see Dominic go. Things change quickly in the Big Brother house, though. Should be an interesting weekend.

Live Eviction Episode Tonight - What Will Follow?

Who will go??

Tonight is the first live eviction show of the season. Live feeds usually have something good to offer after the new HoH is crowned. If you don't have those feeds, please click below and give them a try.

Will there be any surprises with the vote tonight? It would seem that Keith is likely to be the one to go, but there could be a big upset. It all pretty much boils down to how Shelly and Kalia vote. Shelly is doing a good job at playing both sides, but that will likely be uncovered after tonight's vote. A lot of things are going to come out in the open and hopefully it will be accompanied by some strong emotions and good old-fashioned Big Brother fun.

EvelDick has said that he will have some part in the episode tonight, so that is something else to tune in for. Who will Julie ask questions to and what will they be. CBS is sure to work around Jeff's rant on Dumbledore from yesterday...though it would be great if they did address it...would be a big change of pace for Big Brother.

Who will win HoH? For me, I would like to see Dominic take HoH this week. I'm uncertain about how he would play it. To hear him tell it, he would be solidly on the newbies side, but I wonder if the power would change his mind about working with the vets. Seems that the sentimental favorite to win is Shelly. While I'd like to see her get family pictures, etc., I just think her HoH reign would be a boring one...but that is just my opinion.

Catching Up on House Happenings

So the episode aired last night. Great episode, I thought. Left me eager for the live feeds to begin. Everyone was abuzz online. Great expectations. Then all this happened:

EVELDICK

Feeds started and there was no Dick. There is still no Dick. Seems he left the house with nobody knowing the details. Rumors are rampant online, but we aren't yet sure of what really happened. Speculation is a possible family emergency or possibly even punishment for leaving a video that was released on his website announcing that he is indeed in the Big Brother house. Seems that it was posted before the west coast airing, so many think this is whats behind it all. We will find out soon.

DANIELE

Within a couple of hours of the feeds, Daniele was getting impatient and wanted to know what was going on. She was requesting information and was getting nowhere. She did finallget called into the DR and when she came out she announced that Dick was indeed gone and she was now the owner of the first Golden Key. This is to give her immunity until the final 10. She will compete in no comps, but can vote.

KEITH

Keith went off on all the newbie houseguests, though we weren't privy to most of that on the feeds. There was a long period when the feeds where down (while Daniele was getting her details) and he kind of freaked out on everyone. Part of it is the fact that KEITH and PORSCHE are on the BLOCK.

We later find out that he feels that Porsche is trying to play both sides and it upset him.

PORSCHE

With Daniele getting the golden key, that left the returning houseguests with only "3" representatives in the next HoH Comp. This upset Rachel and there was even talk between her and Brendon of leaving the house because she felt their chances were ruined. This soon passed and the 5 remaining returning houseguests formed an alliance they dubbed the Dream Crusher Alliance. They plan to get a couple of the newbies on their side and they think they'll be fine. Adam and Shelly are two of the top prospects.

It was a late night for most, some not hitting the sack until 7AM BB Time.

To sum it up: Rachel is HoH - Nominees are Porsche & Keith - Dick is gone - Daniele has a Golden Key

Hello all. After all the buildup, we're mere hours away from the season premiere of Big Brother 13. There is a lot of anticipation out here in Big Brother land. The buzz is loud and everyone is expecting a great episode tonight. Following the west coast airing of the show, the live feeds will begin. This should be around 1am Eastern / 10pm Pacific. If you haven't gotten your feeds yet, I hope you'll consider getting them tonight. You'll be wondering what's going on in the Big Brother house and the 24 hour live feeds will put you right there.

Here is what I have so far on the cast. Speculation is that the other houseguests will be made up of former cast members. "Dynamic Duos", if you will.

Adam Poch, a 39-year-old music inventory manager originally from East Brunswick, New Jersey, is one of the houseguests on the 13th season of Big Brother Adam on whether or not he'd be interested in a summer showmance: "Unfortunately, not. Last year, I would have been Rachel's little bitch. I would have done anything she said. She was gorgeous, until she opened her mouth. But now I have a girlfriend at home. I love her to death. She is my motivation to win this game."

Cassi Colvin, a 26-year-old model originally from Allen, Texas, is one of the houseguests on the 13th season of Big Brother. Big Week in Big Brother Land

Happy Monday morning, Big Brother fans. There should be lots of information coming our way this week. The biggest of which will be the reveal of the Big Brother 13 cast. I would expect that by weeks’ end, we will know more about the new cast than they probably wish will be revealed. Old videos, blog posts, Facebook images and such will be uncovered and we’ll start developing our favorites before we even see them on screen.

This is the lead up to the season premiere and the 24-hour live feeds. To those of us who follow Big Brother online, the feeds are a sometimes a bigger priority than the show itself. This is where we see the true colors of the houseguests and all the stories behind the story. It is also the time when we all come together in our little online community and share our love for what has become a Summer tradition. Free moments will be dedicated to watching the feeds, chatting with other viewers and keeping up with the numerous blogs and opinions that seem to be never ending. This online community is what makes the whole Big Brother experience so unique. Friends will be made…as will enemies…but it’s all in good fun.

I can tell you from my own experience that it is this tight knit group of viewers that makes this a special time for me. I’ve made what I consider to be lifelong friends and also more acquaintances than I can count. Many of us will come together at seasons’ end and celebrate what I hope was a great season of Big Brother….and it all starts now.

If you are a TV viewer only, I strongly suggest that you give the live feeds a try. If you are into Big Brother enough that you’re online reading blogs such as this one, then you deserve to treat yourself and go that next step into the live feed world. We are all out here waiting for you. All opinions, thoughts and reactions are welcome. Everybody counts here.

RIP Ron Radkiewicz

Our Big Brother family lost a dear member last night. Ron Radkiewicz, who hosted the Rad Reality Show left us after an extended illness. Ron was a great friend to all he met and he will be missed greatly. Deepest thoughts and prayers go to all his family and friends. RIP, my friend.

Big Brother 13 Set for July 6 Debut

It has been stated and it shall be so. The 13th season of CBS' long-running reality series Big Brother is set to debut on July 6. While there have been some rumors of an All Star season, there are scheduled casting calls at various locations throughout the country and video auditions are being accepted.

It seems that American Idol will be going on without one of its Top 13 finalists tonight on the results show. Casey Abrams is reportedly back in the hospital with stomach bleeding, which is said to be caused by stress. Lets hope he makes it back for next weeks performance show. I think the odds are pretty good that he won't be the one going home tonight.

As of now, it doesn't look like it will be an All Stars season, but we all know how things can change. Casting is beginning and the locations and dates of the casting calls will be announced soon. As many of you know, I had to start a new youtube page around mid-season last year. All episodes are pointed to this page, as well, so you shouldn't be missing anything by just coming here to Big Brother Archives.

Anytime is a good time to sign up for SuperPass. During the off-season, viewers have been kept busy with lots of good programming from past houseguests, as well as other shows having to do with Survivor, Amazing Race and Biggest Loser. Exciting Live Show Expected Tonight on Big Brother

Tonight's episode of Big Brother is one of those where excitement is expected. It is quite apparent that Matt will be using his Diamond Power of Veto to save himself from the block. Who he will put up in his place has brought on much discussion on the Big Brother forums. The most likely pic seems to be Kathy. Matt has set that up pretty well by sharing his displeasure of her not telling him about the "pretzel" message. What he doesn't know is that his own Brigade alliance was also aware of the message, but didn't pass that information on to him. Many want him to put up Britney, but I don't see that happening. They are somewhat close and she could prove to be an asset for him in the game and a possible vote. He doesn't expect to get Kathy's vote anyway..so that doesn't really come into play where she is concerned.

Another popular choice would be for him to put up either Enzo or Hayden. They have both shown that they won't remain loyal to him, but it is still questioned as to how aware he is of this. Matt is a smart guy and has engaged those two in quite a few conversations where it seems apparent that he is pulling information out of them as to what their intentions are. I feel that he knows they are going to choose Lane over him, but he is still waiting for them to come out and be truthful to him about that. Whether or not they do tell him the truth could play an important role in his decision.

Brendon is sure to have a cow after Matt's Diamond Power of Veto is used. We will see if he is as good of a sport about it as he expects others to be. As far as reactions to comps, nominations, etc., he has proven to be a pretty poor sport, yet insists on criticizing others on their behavior.

Regardless of where your allegiances lie, it is sure to be a great hour of television. What is sure to be more exciting is the house reactions after the show ends. If you don't already have the live feeds, you should consider giving them a try. Tonight could be one of those nights that make it well worth the investment. Rachel Back in Big Brother House

It seems that Brendon had his own Pandora's Box to open today...and what should appear? Rachel is back in the house for 24 hours. Brendon, though, is nowhere to be found. It is speculated that he is locked up for the time she is here...or he could have gotten a trip out of the house..or who knows... Regardless, Rachel should have a lot to say over the next 24 hours. She has already jumped on Ragan and Britney..who knows what else is to come.

Rachel Makes Her Nominations

As viewers saw on Thursday, Rachel won her 2nd HoH of the season. Friday saw her and Brendon calling all houseguests up one by in order to pick their brains about who has been saying what about them (Brendon&Rachel). It wasn't so much of a how do you see things talk, but more of who has mentioned our names thing.

(NO PARTICULAR ORDER)

Enzo's was a quick talk. He isn't one to share his thinking, so he handled it well and left them thinking that they could trust him and that he has no other real alliances in the house.
Brendon tried to throw in the "swear on your family" line, but Enzo ignored him and later let the others know that didn't make Enzo really happy.

Haydens talk consisted of him throwing Matt (his alliance member) under the bus. Without mentioning his name specifically, he led Brendon know that Matt had told him that B&R were coming after H&K. Matt had told him this as a warning. Brendon told him he had never said that...and Hayden believed Brendon.

Kathy was Kathy. She tried to pick up where things were at the end of Rachel's first HoH reign. He said that she "misses her Rach". I don't think that she pulled much wool over their eyes.

Lane had a nice talk and kissed their asses just enough to cover his own. He praised their game play and validated their relationship as something real. Lance covers his true feelings very well, keeping a smile on his face the whole time. Personally...I'm ready for Lane to let his feelings be known when it comes to Brendon & Rachel. I think Brendon would be very intimidated by Lane if he (Lane) showed a little more aggression in the game.

Britney played the friend and supported most of what B&R said, without revealing anything pertinent information. One laughable moment was when Brendon told Britney that he wanted her to say in the house because "Rachel needs a friend".

Kristen came up and talked forever. They were bitter enemies before she came in, but seemed to have worked things out by the time she left. Rachel told her that she didn't want to put her up. During this talk, it was easy to surmise that Rachel would, in fact, go another direction from the obvious and not put Kristen up. It seemed that they would never quit talking. Brendon came into the room after an hour or so and told her that she may be called to make noms soon and they finally broke the convo off.

Ragan had talked earlier and gave his lecture. We've all heard that.

Matt had been telling the others that he had no desire to go up and talk to Rachel. I think he was holding off so he would be the last to go up. Rachel asked him outright who had said they would put her and Brendon on the block. Matt was not giving names, but did tell them that there were 2 people in the house that had not mentioned their names. It was more of the same tactics Matt had told them he didn't like during Rachel's first HoH stint. He didn't give out any real information, but led them to believe that they had nothing to fear from him. He did seem to throw Haydens name out there a couple of times.

After Matt left, Rachel seemed to hint that she had changed her mind about nominating Kristen and Brendon was dumbfounded. She then agreed to follow through, but wasn't sure about who to put up against her. She mentioned Kathy and Brendon said that Kathy would go home instead of Kristen, so she agreed that it would be Hayden.

A while later, after the nomination ceremony...we find that Rachel had been pretty aggressive and told Kristen & Hayden to come on after her & Brendon. Brendon didn't like this at all. We had a good 15 minutes or so where Brendon lectured her and she just stared at him with a pretty evil look on her face.

I'll leave it at that for now. Nominations ... Kristen & Hayden.

Eviction Night - Possible Endurance HoH Comp

It's Thursday, and in Big Brother world that means eviction night. Matt is up on the block as the replacement nominee against Monet. For those watching the live feeds, he house meeting on Tuesday night changed the tone of the house and the outcome is likely to be the dreaded house split. The Brigade is likely to make out of the week still undetected, but surely they are one week closer to being found out. Depending on who wins the HoH comp tonight, that could all unravel this week.

Rachel Makes Her Nominations

New HoH Rachel made here nominations last night, putting Britney and Monet on the block. Both nominees were pretty emotional about it and each had their time to speak with Rachel in the HoH room. They both pointed the finger at Kathy as the one who they blamed for them being on the block. Rachel was assuming it was a guy they were upset with - most likely Matt - but after speaking with Monet, it was clear they were speaking of Kathy.

Rachel is having doubts about Matt. He is a favorite of mine and I hope he makes it for a while. Matt needs to go to her and tell her the only reason he was paranoid is because Andrew thought he was the Saboteur and he was afraid Andrew would convince them of the same and have him put on the block. Clear it up Matt!

The saboteur interrupted the day and gave the houseguests a new message. It is being said that the saboteur told the houseguests that there are two individuals in the house who are in a pre-show secret alliance. Interesting.

Big Brother 12 - Twist Details Coming to Light

Big Brother 12 is very much upon us. DVRs are being programmed, live feeds are being bought (which you can do here)…and expectations are running high. We’re all ready to find out the identities of those new faces with whom we’ll be enjoying a big part of our summer.

Twists are slowly starting to come to light - the biggest being the inclusion of a house saboteur. It is a twist that has been bantered about on the message boards for a long time. It is a similar concept to Season 8’s America’s Player, but, on its face, seems to offer much more opportunity for house trickery and deception. As a live feed viewer, I enjoy having someone specific to follow around the house – and what is better than a mole that is planted by Big Brother himself? Seeing twists play out on CBS is one thing, but seeing them play out live and unedited…that’s a blast.

It has also been said that the viewing public will have some sort of say-so in the game this season. It is always fun to get the viewers involved, but I do hope our level of responsibility doesn’t stretch to actually choosing the weekly-evicted houseguest. It has been proven many times, on many shows – in my opinion – that the public doesn’t always make the best choices. While I wouldn’t mind a vote in the nominations, I’d rather the eviction process follow tradition.

We’ll be learning much more over the next few days…possibly today! The fun is just getting started and signs are pointing to a action packed Big Brother house.
